The Night Before WWDC 2009
Tomorrow is the grand opening for WWDC 2009. Us Macheads have been waiting for this for a little while. Especially the iPhone fans due to the rumors upon rumors of new iPhones.
Not much else to say, but head over to http://specialkolin.com/live around 1pm EST for my live coverage of the WWDC keynote brought to you by Phil Schiller, and hopefully a cameo by Steve Jobs!

An Open Letter to Bank of America [Job Hunt]
about 3 days ago - No comments
Whether you know it or not is irrelevant, but I, like many Americans, am on the hunt for a job. Now, I’ve been with your bank for a very long time now, so I figured that I’d give you all a try since I know how well your tellers seem to like their jobs. I More >
The Puma Phone
about 2 weeks ago - No comments
Puma, yes, the shoe company, is releasing it’s very own mobile phone. No, it’s not a shoe phone. [Gosh, it would be rather difficult to text of something like that.] Instead, it’s a multi-touch multimedia device. Now, see, I can understand what you may [or may not] be thinking right now; “Kolin, why do you More >
The Buzz on Google Buzz

It’s hip, it’s now, wow…and how?
Google, yesterday, rolled it’s new little app, integrated into Gmail: Buzz.
What is Buzz? It’s Google’s latest social media venture, incorporating what they kind of established with Latitude. What Buzz allows you to do is share: what you’re doing, your location, rate places (restaurants, businesses, etc.), and photos (from Flickr and More >
Feedback Wanted: Media Network Idea
about 3 months ago - No comments
Because I’m currently lacking exactly 1 person to bounce ideas off of, whoever you are, will have to do.
Okay, so here’s how it will ultimately be:
I have a network of computers, I’ve got an Airport Extreme routing everything.
What I want to be able to do is have a single computer serving all media, preferably over More >
Working and School

For the past semester I’ve been working a full time job doing electronics sales. During that time, I’ve also been trying to go to school and actually get my degree in psychology. Mixing the two was nothing but a big mistake.
I wouldn’t doubt that there are some people that are able to do school work More >
Black Friday

Black Friday was insane for me.
I woke up at 1am, was at work by 3am, and dealt with at least 146 customers by 5am.
Anxiety attack at 6am, and stupid customers all-round!
Here’s an actual conversation:
Customer: How much are these cameras?
Me: [staring at the big sign above the cameras] they’re 29.95 after a $10 mail in rebate
Customer: More >

So, bird being the word, I figured that I might as well type up a blog post. It’s currently 10:24pm on Thanksgiving Day. Tomorrow at 1am I have to wake up and get ready for work. So, I sit here in my loft, unable to make a sad attempt at sleeping, since I already have More >
Just a Few Words

Hi there, folks. I know, I don’t post as often as I’d like, or as often as you’d like, but I’d just like to say that I’m still alive, and I’m doing much better.
If you’ve been following all my twitter posts, you would notice that lately my tweets have been more upbeat than usual. No, More >
Today’s Lesson: Just Do It
about 5 months ago - No comments
I don’t want to make this sound like getting into a nasty car wreck is a good thing… but if it’s shown me anything, it’s just to stop being nervous about crap, and in reality, it’s probably the most difficult thing to do.
But when it comes down to it, what stands between you and what More >
Time, Days, and the Loss of Weekends

I could also call this “when life gets in the way of life” since it’s basically what this is all about…
Three weeks ago, I started working at a certain place (follow my twitter, I say where all the time… I just want to keep my job) full time. So basically, all day every day. My More >
